About
Rusty Guinn, co-founder and CEO. A Wharton School graduate, Guinn has held various investment roles, including Executive Vice President at Salient Partners and Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas. His experience spans managing multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios and leading strategic transitions within asset management firms.
Ben Hunt, co-founder of Second Foundation Partners and creator of Epsilon Theory. With a Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University, he spent a decade teaching political science before transitioning into finance, where he has served as a portfolio manager and risk manager. Hunt’s work focuses on analyzing market dynamics through the lenses of game theory and history.
Chris Whatley, Chief Technology Officer. With decades of experience as an entrepreneur, manager, and hands-on software engineer, he has worked across industries such as technology, entertainment, automotive, and financial services. A University of Texas at Austin graduate, Whatley's career includes roles at NeXT, Apple, Viacom, and DipJar, as well as the co-founding of CodeFab and Alphadrive.
